Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Fox Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jackson area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
