Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Amber Construction and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
