Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Timber Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Birmingham, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer estimates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
