Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Harborlight Orchard Civic Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
