Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Meridian Energy is an energy provider in Cleveland focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 929 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
