Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Cedar Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Toledo area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 685 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
