Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Meadow Markets is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
