Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Mill Civic Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
