Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Bright Maple Housing Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Investigate trends in maintenance stores and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
