Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Markets and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
