Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Amber Housing and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 890 people based in Madison. What you will do • Investigate trends in lease compliance and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on repair requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
