Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Madison, WI)

Summit Lantern Construction is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
