Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight Amber Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on catastrophe response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
