Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Kansas City presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in exhibitions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
