Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Jackson, MS)

Westbrook Union Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on public records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
