Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Cedar Wilder Auto Group is a Indianapolis company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on parts orders.
