Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Clear Freight Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on proof of delivery. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
