Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Staffing and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on temp assignments. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
