Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Harbor Care Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
