Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Summit Vale Financial Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 496 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer onboarding and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
