Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Cleveland, OH)

Fernwood Lantern Insurance is an insurance company in Cleveland with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
