Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Bridge Arts Center and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
