Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Cobalt Auto Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service appointments and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on parts orders.
