Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Quarry Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Buffalo serving households and small businesses, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on branch operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
