Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Boise, ID)

Clearpath North Insurance Associates sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Boise. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
