Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Thistle Staffing places workers with employers around Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
