Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Quarry Energy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 217 people based in Austin. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
