Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Austin, TX)

Stonegate Sparrow Civic Services works with county and city offices around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits.
