Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meadow Community Partners Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 827 people based in Austin. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on grant reporting. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
