Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Loom Housing Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
