Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Meridian Hospitality Partners operates hotels and event venues around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in group events and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food costs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
