Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Ridge Markets is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
