Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Tucson, AZ)

Ironwood Partners is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
