Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Seattle, WA)

Lumen Cedar Farms is an agricultural business based around Seattle, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
