Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Savannah, GA)

Summit Pine Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Savannah plant, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
