Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Beacon Medical designs and makes medical devices in San Jose. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in complaint handling and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lots. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
