Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cedar Banking Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
