Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Loom Early Learning is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
