Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Corner Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service appointments and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on parts orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
