Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vale Community Partners and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Investigate trends in client intake and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
