Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Rook Manufacturing and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 529 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on tooling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
