Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Cross Facilities is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
