Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Nova Meridian Inspection Services is an inspection company in Rochester with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in client sites and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
