Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Cobalt Auto Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
