Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Bright Vale Staffing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in candidate screening and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
