Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Greenridge Fox Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
