Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Meridian Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Baltimore. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 874 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
