Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Inspection Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
