Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Highbridge Vista Markets is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on pricing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
