Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Bluepeak Mill Energy Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
